Stocks in Bursa Malaysia fell 6.28 points to close at 1317.94 points on mild profit-taking activities as investors locked in profits following a surge in the previous session. The Finance Index lost 61.60 to 11790.21 points, the Properties Index eased 2.63 to 792.57 points and the Plantation Index fell 23.72 to 6400.89 points. The  arket traded within a range of 7.40 points between an intra-day high of 1323.69 and a low of 1316.29 during the session. Actively traded stocks include MRCB, IOI, SUPERMX-CA, MAYBANK, UEMLAND, JCY, KNM, SCOMI, AXIS and JCY-CA. Trading volume declined to 797.92 mil shares worth RM1452.69 mil as compared to Monday's 1160.72 mil shares worth RM2259.32 mil. Top Losers were NESTLE (-28 sen to RM34.10), KLK (-24 sen to RM16.64), TIMWELL-WA (-22 sen to RM0.08),  UTDPLT (-22 sen to RM13.54) and SHL (-18 sen to RM1.12). Top Gainers were FIMACOR (+42 sen to RM4.14), DAIBOCI (+28 sen to RM3.74), HARTA (+28 sen to RM7.68), JETSON-LA (+26 sen to RM2.07) and KKB (+21 sen to RM5.75). Market breadth was negative with 455 losers as compared to 253 gainers.
