Mamee-Double Decker (M) Berhad (MDD) is engaged in investment holding and provision of management services to its subsidiaries. Through its subsidiaries, MDD operates in two segments: food and beverage, which is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of a range of food and dairy products and soft drinks, and property development, which is engaged in the development of land into commercial buildings. The products of MDD include Mamee Monster, Mamee Instant and Sllrrrp! Noodles, Double Decker and Smax cracker snacks, Mister Potato Chips, Mister Potato Crisps, Cheers beverage, Nicolet Swiss herb candy, Nutrigen cultured milk drink, yogurt and IQ3. During the year ended December 31, 2009, MDD launched two products: Corntoz snack, and Mister Potato Rice Crisps, which are distributed in original, sour cream and onion, hot and spicy and flame-grilled barbecue (BBQ) flavors. MDD distributes its products within Malaysia and to China, Myanmar, other Asian countries and other countries.
